So many ingredients, so much flavor. Had no idea marzipan was in there too.The Duo Disheshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04979954443694635486noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7617482628482712537.post-20992516065788318102010-12-13T13:26:37.628-05:002010-12-13T13:26:37.628-05:00Great Bread. You know that most people don't feel that way about school, right? And that you are definitely meant to be in grad/seminary school (not sure which you're in). Anyway, just thought I'd mention that because maybe it's encouraging? I went to grad school for the exact same reason and loved it!DessertForTwohttp://www.dessertfortwo.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7617482628482712537.post-9041792296656129482010-12-10T17:43:59.921-05:002010-12-10T17:43:59.921-05:00I have never made one either, I am dying too! I've been in school for some time now, and December always reminds me of papers! Thankfully, I'm learning to let go of that stress and I'm trying to embrace the true meaning of the season more. Your stollen looks lovely. What a great snack to study with. Thank you so much for sharing with me today. I hope you have a lovely weekend.Monethttp://anecdotesandapples.weebly.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7617482628482712537.post-27836788727613555452010-12-10T09:32:37.404-05:002010-12-10T09:32:37.404-05:00Wow! My grandmother used to make these and send them over from Germany, and now that she's 93 we import ours from a bakery in Munich. ;)

But I've always wanted to start making them, and the one thing she's always said is to let them sit. For like, three weeks. She always made hers at the end of November.

Yours sure looks good, though!Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04787162401547177336noreply@blogger.com
